“Size Matters” Social Media Campaign
Right now, there is a global shortage of automotive technicians. More than ever, Volvo Trucks need highly skilled technicians to deliver the high quality of servicing that the brand is known for.
To support this recruitment drive for Volvo Trucks, we launched “Size Matters” in 2019; an innovative video-first multi-channel campaign aimed at encouraging automotive technicians to apply to Volvo Group. The promotion was about taking technicians who work on cars and motorcycles to upgrade to the biggest engines in the industry.
The campaign was the most successful recruitment campaign Volvo Trucks have ever ran on social, receiving high levels of website traffic and reaching over 212,000 Facebook profiles. Posts were shared over 200 times and the video was viewed 72,538 times across all platforms.
We received great feedback from the client and tangible results via a selection of capable Volvo Trucks recruits. In particular in the London region, 45 CVs were received.
