CWA is extremely proud to share the exciting news that our Managing Director, Nicola Adams, has been appointed to the board of Leicestershire County Cricket Club (LCCC).
As a long-standing advocate for Leicester’s business and creative community, Nicola’s new role marks another exciting chapter in her career journey. With over 20 years of commercial and creative leadership experience, including 13 years at the helm of CWA, she will hope to bring her experience and insight to the LCCC board.
Nicola commented: “Leicester is such an important part of CWA’s identity and I’m incredibly proud to have been invited to join the board at Leicestershire County Cricket Club. The club has deep roots in the local community and shares many of the same ambitions and values that we have at CWA.”
In her new role, Nicola will support the club’s strategic development, while continuing to lead CWA’s full-service, business-to-many (B2M) offering across a variety of sectors.
Sean Jarvis, CEO of LCCC, welcomed the appointment: “It’s great to have Nicola join the board. She brings with her not only crucial business acumen, but a highly tuned skill set of marketing and communications, which can only assist the progress of our club.”
CWA and LCCC already have a strong working relationship in recent years and this new role builds on that foundation, opening the door to new opportunities, shared growth and a continued commitment to supporting the Leicester community.
As we celebrate 60 years of CWA in 2025, we’re reminded that collaboration, ambition and staying connected to our roots are what drive us forward. Nicola’s appointment is a great example of all three.
