Understanding the client

Porsche is a legendary marque specialising in high-performance luxury sports cars, SUVs, and sedans.

Porsche Japan was at a transformational moment in its company’s history, and the brand required event support to help them make its mark in Tokyo, Japan’s thriving capital.

Gathering insights and expertise

Porsche Japan needed event support to launch its first ever new all-electric car, the Taycan. Central to the car’s market success was ensuring the brand’s dealership network were fully trained on the functionalities of the Taycan, along with its unique selling points. The objective was to hold an informative yet engaging training event with Porsche Japan’s dealership network, with CWA providing strategic event guidance and support.

Collaborating to meet objectives

We worked closely with Porsche Japan holding a series of meetings to fully understand their needs, set out objectives, identify challenges, and plan the event journey.

Our team created an event theme, all event content, and on-site management for the project, all around the event tagline, “electrified”. The event was held within a convenient customer centre in Tokyo. It included the main presentation, and a series of five educational workshop breakouts, enabling dealers to learn about the car’s unique features and additional upgrades that could add enhanced value to the customers, including an innovative Porsche network that offers car sharing.

Delivering added-value results

The collaboration between CWA and Porsche Japan delivered superb results. More than 100 people attended the event, and 90% of attendees rated the event ‘four’ or ‘five’ out of five. The Porsche Japan network returned to its dealerships excited and engaged for the next chapter in the legendary carmaker’s history.
