Leicestershire County Cricket Club awards sponsorship sees CWA and RedKnows champion future talent

Full-service marketing communications agency CWA, and EVP talent consultancy RedKnows, are promoting the next generation of talent after headline sponsoring three prestigious awards at Leicestershire County Cricket Club's (LCCC’s) End of Season Awards, held on 30 September at Winstanley House.

The awards brought together players, partners and supporters to recognise outstanding achievements across the county cricket season. CWA and RedKnows sponsored various awards, including Men’s Young Player of the Year, Women's Player’s Player and Coaches’ Player of the Year, Men's Individual Performance of the Year, and Men’s Cricketer of the Year. The winners were Alex Green, Caitlin Chissell, and Ian Holland.

The CWA and RedKnows sponsorship reflects an ongoing commitment to recognising and nurturing future talent and promoting personal performance. These are key values that extend far beyond the cricket field. The agencies have recently welcomed two new Digital Marketing Apprentices, Billie Bentley and Jessica Bray to their Glenfield operation, as part of an ongoing investment in developing the next generation of marketing professionals.

By sponsoring the Young Player of the Year award alongside two of the club's other most prestigious individual honours, CWA and RedKnows are highlighting the importance of creating opportunities for talented young people to fulfil their potential, whether in sport or in business.

Nicola Adams, Managing Director and Owner at CWA and RedKnows, said: "We understand the importance of investing in people and giving talent the opportunity to thrive. Whether that's supporting young professionals at the start of their careers or recognising emerging athletes who are making their mark, developing future talent is something we're incredibly passionate about. It’s especially relevant given our recent purchase of the RedKnows talent consultancy brand.

"Our recent appointment of two Digital Marketing Apprentices further demonstrates our commitment to helping individuals build rewarding careers, and we were delighted to headline sponsor Leicestershire County Cricket Club's End of Season Awards, particularly the Young Player of the Year award. Congratulations to all of the individual winners.

"As a proud Leicester-based business, it is fantastic to support a club that plays such an important role in our local community while celebrating excellence across both the men's and women's game."

Leicestershire County Cricket Chair, John Thorpe, added: “We were delighted that CWA and RedKnows were happy to headline sponsor this year’s awards. The partnership highlights our shared belief that investing in people and recognising achievement is key to long-term success.”
