At CWA we like to celebrate all our achievements and awards. We are a very talented bunch, with the right skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals and keep us at the forefront of new technologies. But we are always keen to keep learning and developing our skill set.
Our Senior Developer, Cybersecurity and DevOps, Mark Sutherland has recently become a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect. This is testament to Mark’s hard-work and dedication and it’s great news for CWA.
The Professional Cloud Architect Skill Set
In order to become a Google Cloud Certified Professional Mark required at least three years industry experience and at least a year of experience with Google Cloud. Mark actually has more than a decade of knowledge with various cloud providers including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
As part of the certification he also completed extensive training on all aspects of Google Cloud Platform, which includes; handling sensitive and confidential data at scale, live streaming and real time interactive experiences and effectively managing large scale projects.
What does this mean for CWA?
Well quite a lot actually.... This accreditation provides many benefits to CWA and our clients, including;
Helps ensure that systems designed by the CWA Development team are compliant with our ISO27001 accreditation, GDPR and any compliance or security requirements from clients
Increased confidence in the cloud solutions developed for client projects
More sophisticated, complex digital solutions
Demonstrating high-level expertise
Ensures that we can effectively provide solutions to client requirements based on experience and deep knowledge of the platform
Effectively providing hosting and cloud solutions to clients at a global level
