Renowned Leicester-based B2M full-service agency, CWA, is celebrating a major company milestone, reaching 60 years of the business delivering bold ideas, strategic thinking, and industry-shaping campaigns for global brands.
The agency has a whole host of celebrations planned for the remainer of the anniversary year, including events and innovative staff challenges. Well-known in the industry for pushing boundaries and delivering with purpose, the agency kicked off its celebrations this month with a special staff challenge laid down by its Managing Director, Nicola Adams.
Media and Comms Director, Dave Leatham and HR and Office Manager, Leigh White were set the unenviable challenge of visiting 60 train stations in just one day.
The initiative was more than just a test of their stamina, it was designed as a tribute to CWA’s deep-rooted connection with the rail industry, a sector the agency continues to support through transformative campaigns, impactful events, and award-winning PR activations.
The challenge began at Leicester Station, the agency’s local hub, and took Dave and Leigh through the heart of London’s vast rail network from the busy crowds of King’s Cross to some of the more suburban stops of Greater London. Stops included Wembley and the West End. The pair meticulously planned their route, clocking in at each station with just enough time to capture the moment and move to the next. The whole day was documented in a short agency film: https://vimeo.com/1094327399/619cbccea4?ts=0&share=copy

Over the years, the agency has worked closely with some major clients, supporting everything from onboarding campaigns and internal communications to major industry events and awareness drives.
The agency’s ability to continually adapt, grow and lead in a constantly evolving landscape is what’s kept it relevant and thriving for 60 years. With a strong focus on client relationships, measurable results, and audience-led strategy, CWA has remained a trusted partner to organisations across the public and private sectors.
Nicola Adams said, “CWA was built on big ideas and brave thinking. We wanted to celebrate our 60th anniversary in a way that reflects not just our history, but our values, creativity, collaboration, energy, and doing work that truly connects. The transport and logistics industy has played a pivotal role in our journey, so I thought what better way to mark this moment than with a creative, fast-paced challenge that honours that important connection. I’m proud of the team completing it and the video demonstrates our personality really well.”
Dave Leatham added: “I’ve had the privilege of leading some of our award-winning PR campaigns, but it was really nice to be actively involved in an activation myself. Leigh and I took it really seriously and were delighted to complete it. More importantly it demonstrated the teamwork, stamina and creative thinking that has become synonymous with CWA. I’m excited to see what challenges Nicola is going to set next.”
Leigh echoed the sentiment: “CWA isn’t just where I work it’s a place where people grow, ideas thrive, and creativity is truly valued. The culture here is incredibly supportive and energising, you feel part of something special every single day. It was an honour to help CWA kick off its birthday celebrations with this special challenge.”
