Before the decades begins, here’s CWA’s 2019 in numbers…

In a nutshell, we had a great 2019. Our team grew, we worked with a variety of clients on multiple projects that we’re all really proud of.

So, we decided to run the numbers and see just what CWA achieved in 2019. We asked everyone in the office to rack their brains and their excel spreadsheets, and this is what we found…

Our services took us all around the world in 2019, visiting 15 countries, and producing work in 37 different languages!

Last year, we also made 283 films. That’s a lot of video! In 2019, we created so many great films, working hard to achieve our client’s objectives. For example, the videos below were a series for Volvo Trucks, documenting participants’ journeys of through the VISTA World Championships in 2018. The aim of the films was to encourage new challengers to sign up for the 2020 competition. We flew out to Brazil and Sweden to shoot their stories, and managed to capture the passion they have for the event and their teams. The videos were rolled out on social media, leading to a 100% increase in VISTA’s Instagram following over the course of six months, lots of great engagement and positive feedback from the client.

We also had a big year for events, managing 14 events around the world. From Dubai to Dublin, Tokyo to Manchester, we’ve worked with our clients on so many great events this year, serving 1000s of delegates.

Have a look at some images below, where we helped Hull Trains launch their new fleet of Paragon trains. The landmark event kick-started a multi-channel campaign to launch five state-of-the-art-trains into passenger service, featuring a combination of social media and PR support, branding and design, video production and digital services. More than 30 positive stories featured in print, online and broadcast media following the press event, reaching an audience of more than 5 million people.

Alongside our achievements in  our video and events services, we also sent out 750,000 email marketing messages, 4,897 social media posts, 57 press releases and 109 magazine articles. That’s a staggering amount of words, pictures, videos, clicks, scrolls, views, shares, likes, comments and page-turns.

All this work has come from the CWA team, which grew by six in 2019, all of which are in areas that we are pushing in 2020: PR, social media and accounts.
